After closing out their five-game road trip with a 16-9 win against Lafayette Wednesday, the Villanova women's lacrosse team will host the Michigan Wolverines on Sunday. The Wildcats enter the matchup at 3-6 while the Wolverines enter at 8-1, after defeating No. 18 John's Hopkins 9-7 on Friday.

Caroline Curnal is coming off a five-goal performance against Lafayette, tying her career high. The senior has been dominant in the draw circle, after recording 12 draw controls on Wednesday, she enters Sunday's matchup fourth in the country averaging nine draws per game. Five Wildcats have reached double figures in goals for the season, including Curnal (21),

On defense for Villanova, senior goalkeeper
Alexa Moro leads the BIG EAST in saves per game at 9.57 per game. She has 67 saves through seven games played. Junior
Molly Dunphey has caused nine turnovers on the season, followed by senior
Sydney Frank (8) and
Hanna Driscoll (6).
Michigan enters the game ranked No. 10 in the IWLCA DI Poll. On Friday, the Wolverines defeated Johns Hopkins after four different Michigan players scored two goals apiece. For the season, seven different players have reached the double-digit goal mark, led by senior Kaitlyn Mead, who has scored 16. Fifth-year Catilin Muir leads the team with 26 points by way of 13 goals and 13 assists.
