NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. -- Villanova women's lacrosse was commended for its academic prowess on Wednesday afternoon, picking up multiple awards from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
The program was selected as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the sixth straight year and 16th time overall, qualifying for the laurel by posting a GPA above 3.2 for the 2025-26 academic year.
Individually, double digit Wildcats were selected for the Division I Academic Honor Roll, eligible for the honor by achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in their junior or senior year.

Rachel Hackler,
Gabriella Henson-Vendrell,
Isabella Henson-Vendrell,
Georgia Sobocinski,
Jillian Vaught,
Emma Verhoest and
Juliet Walls. Both Henson-Vendrell sisters, Sobocinski and Walls each picked up the honor for the second straight year while the others are all first time honorees.
The 'Cats will return to campus in less than a month, beginning preparations for the 2027 campaign in the fall.
