Princess Livingston returns to Villanova University for her second season as an assistant under head coach Julie Young.
Livingston graduated from Villanova University in 2012, where she played on the women’s lacrosse team from 2009-2012. A starter for the women’s lacrosse program during her time in a Wildcat Uniform, she transitioned from a midfielder to a defender her senior year. She became a force to be reckoned with in the clear and she was placed on the Big East Weekly Honor Roll. Also during her senior season she played for now Head Coach Julie Young. Known for her passion and love of the game, Villanova is excited to have an alumni be a huge part of growth of the program.
For the 2015 season Livingston returned back to the Main Line to help assist the Wildcats in a breakout season. The program earning their first appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament, had a player named BIG EAST Attacker of the Year, as well as placing four players on the Big East All Conference Teams.
Livingston now coaches the midfielders and defenders for the Wildcats. She is the Wildcat’s Recruiting Coordinator and works in all areas to help with the program’s success. Her other duties include film breakdown, individual sessions, and travel plans.
Before her time at Villanova, Livingston helped Mount Olive start their women’s lacrosse program in 2013. During the first season the team finished 9-7; it was only the seventh time in NCAA DII history a program posted a winning record during their startup year. Mount Olive also made an appearance in the Conference Carolinas Tournament that year, and also placed a player on the All-Conference Second Team. While at Mount Olive, Livingston’s duties included recruiting coordinator, film breakdown, and the defensive coach amongst learning and being a crucial part of all facets of the programs success.
Livingston went on to be a graduate assistant coach at Mercer University, while there she pursued her masters in higher educational leadership. This was yet another start up program that Livingston helped to develop and lay the foundation for. She was the lead recruiting coordinator and helped sign 20 incoming freshman student athletes, while assisting the head coach in daily operations.
She is from Danbury Connecticut and currently resides in Philadelphia, Pa. with her three year old dog, Nova.
