Women's Lacrosse Will Host Butler On Senior Day

VILLANOVA, PA -  Villanova women's lacrosse will face their second BIG EAST team on Saturday as they host Butler.

Butler comes to the main line with a 0-7, 0-1 BE record. Their most recent lose was to Marquette 5-16. Freshman Goalie Alyssa Lentz leads the conference is saves per game is 16th nationally. While junior Elise Latham leads the conference in free position percentage and 2nd in the nation.

The lat time the Wildcats and Bulldogs faced off, the 'Cats won 16-11. Villanova is on a eight win streak over Butler.

The Wildcats are 7-3, 1-0 BE for the 2025 season, winning the past four games they have played, including BIG EAST then #25 UConn. 

The opening draw is set for 1 p.m. with senior day ceremonies taking place at approximately 12:45 p.m.
