VILLANOVA, Pa – Villanova women's lacrosse open up their 2025 season on Saturday morning.
 
The Wildcats will host Binghamton at the Villanova stadium, with the game starting at 10am.

This is the first time the 'Cats and the Bearcats will face each other. Binghamton won the America-East Championship last year. They finished the season 12-7 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
 
Under Head Coach Jill Batcheller, the team has gone 1-2 in season openers. In 2024, the Wildcats finished with a 7-9 record and 3-3 in conference play. Villanova welcomes back key players, including seniors Sydney Pappas, Maddy Stoddard and Sami Carey, while also bring in efforts from 11 freshmen looking to make a positive impact on the program.
