The Hoyas have faced daunting competition with five losses coming to ranked opponents including their last outing against No. 2 Maryland. Sophomore Gracie Driggs leads the Hoyas with 20 goals on the season. Emma Gebhardt and Kylie Hazen round out the Hoya attack with 21 points each this season.
Villanova narrowly won last year's meeting 13-12 in Washington, a signature win that guided the 'Cats back to the BIG EAST Tournament.
Sydney Pappas scored four goals in that meeting and will look to continue her brilliant junior season.
The opening draw is set for 1 p.m. this Saturday at Villanova Stadium.
