Jakob Kunzer (George Town, Grand Cayman) swept the 200 meters and the 400 meters in the local meet at Franklin Field while graduate
Sosa Omuemu (Foxborough, Mass.) finished first in the long jump.
Kunzer recorded a personal best time of 22.35 to win the 200 meters and tallied a win in the 400 meters with a time of 49.40. He was followed in each race by junior
Mac Costonis (Lower Gwynedd, Pa.) and sophomore
William Seijas (Shrewsbury, N.J.) who each posted personal best times at both distances. Costonis registered times of 22.43 in the 200 meters and 49.78 in the 400 meters, while Seijas crossed the finish line with times of 23.05 and 51.84 on the day.
In the field events, Omuemu recorded a mark of 6.23 meters to win the long jump and junior thrower
Eduardo Perez (Appling, Ga.) competed in both the shot put and the discus. Perez threw for 13.60 meters in the shot put and recorded a mark of 36.19 meters in the discus.
