In their fifth and final game of their road trip, the Villanova Wildcats will head to Easton, Pa. to face the Lafayette College Leopards on Wednesday afternoon. The visiting Wildcats enter the matchup at 2-6, while the Leopards sit at 1-4 on the season.
This will be the 19th all time meeting between the two schools, with Lafayette holding an 11-7 advantage in the win column. Villanova was victorious in the last matchup, in 2017, by a final score of 13-11. The 'Cats have won three straight against Lafayette dating back to 2014.

Lafayette is coming off a midweek loss against Fairfield last Wednesday, by a final score of 20-12. Leading the Leopards in scoring are senior Olivia Cunningham and sophomore Clare Culligan. Both have scored 10 goals through five games, while Cunningham has also dished out five assists. In their win against La Salle, the team caused a season high six turnovers.
