VILLANOVA, Pa. - Junior Pamela Lowie scored three goals, including a pair in the second half, to lead the University of Connecticut to a 10-7 victory over Villanova on Saturday afternoon at Villanova Stadium.
Lowie opened the scoring less than three minutes into the game when she beat Wildcats goalkeeper Kelly O'Leary to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead. Heather Bliss answered with a goal for the Huksies before DePeters scored again at the 21:26 mark to make it 2-2. Connecticut then scored two goals in 25 seconds to build a two-goal cushion that it took into intermission.

The Wildcats drew to within two goals at the 19:08 mark when DePeters notched her third goal of the day to close the gap to 7-5. But the Wildcats would get no closer as the Huskies got goals from Kariane Lauri, Lowie and Megan Campbell to build a 10-5 lead that they did not relinquish.
