Liz Sturtridge

Elizabeth "Liz" Sturtridge is an assistant athletic trainer at Villanova, joining the staff in June 2022. Sturtridge handles training responsibilities for the VU football and water polo teams.

Sturtridge came to Villanova after a stint as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Troy University, where she served as the sole trainer for the softball and men's and women's golf teams. Prior to that, she functioned as a student athletic trainer with University of Michigan football and Grand Valley State men's basketball.

She was selected to present an original case study at the 2019 Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association annual symposium in Chicago, Illinois.

Sturtridge received her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Grand Valley State in 2019 and earned her Masters in Kinesiology from Troy in 2022.

Originally from Marysville, Michigan, Sturtridge now resides in Philadelphia with her partner, Mo, who is also an athletic trainer. In her free time, Sturtridge likes to take time in nature to decompress, including with her 11 house plants.
