Amy Pauly enters her sixth season at Villanova in 2017 and continues to be heavily involved in all aspects of the program. In addition to assisting with recruiting Pauly also works on training the team's defense and helps to run the Villanova Volleyball Camps. She also assists with coordinating travel arrangements and with other team planning.

In 2016, Pauly was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association 30 under 30 list for 2016. The award which was created in 2009, honors up-and-coming coaching talent at all levels of the sport of volleyball. Pauly was one of 12 Division I coaches to receive the award in 2016. Also, in 2016 Pauly took part in coaching Allie Loitz to her first team All-BIG EAST honor. Villanova's freshmen recruiting class in 2016 (Class of 2020) of Emma Decker, Remy Fairchild, Allie Olsonoski and Regan Lough was the first top 50 recruiting class in Villanova volleyball history, in which Pauly also played a huge role in.

In 2015, she was instrumental in helping outside hitter Allie Loitz earn her first team All-Region award, and also took part in coaching Gabby Pethokoukis to her second team All-Region award. Both Amanda Pedersen-Henry and Emma Pettit earned BIG EAST All-Tournament honors, and Pauly had a hand in coaching them as well.

In 2013, Gabby Pethokoukis and Mariah Henley were both awarded with second team All-BIG EAST honors under the help of Pauly.

In her first season at Villanova, Pauly helped to mentor one of the youngest Wildcats teams in recent memory. Now in her sixth season with the Cats, Pauly looks to continue to assist in building a strong and successful squad with a promising roster this fall.

Pauly was a standout collegiate player at Alabama and was a graduate assistant at South Carolina prior to joining the Wildcats coaching staff. She was responsible for coordinating practice schedules and travel arrangements at South Carolina, while assisting with on-campus recruiting activities. Pauly was also a co-director of the Gamecocks summer camps.

During her playing days at Alabama, Pauly was the libero for a Crimson Tide team that reached the NCAA Tournament in three consecutive seasons. Pauly is the Alabama record holder in digs for both a career and a single-season, and ranks fourth all-time on the Southeastern Conference career dig list.

In addition to her collegiate coaching experience Pauly was previously the head coach of the SC Midlands Volleyball Club, where she guided her team to a third place finish at the Palmetto Regional and led her team to finish 30 spots higher than its AAU ranking. Pauly was also an assistant coach at 1st Alliance Volleyball in Chicago.

Pauly graduated from Alabama in 2009 and received a Master's Degree in Sports and Entertainment Management in Dec. of 2011.
