Beth Lazarus

Beth Lazarus serves as a Sports Performance Coach at Villanova University, a position she has held since the summer of 2023. In her role, she oversees strength and conditioning programming for the Women's Soccer, Softball, and Rowing programs.

Prior to joining the Wildcats, Lazarus served as a Graduate Assistant in Strength and Conditioning at her alma mater, Boston University, where she was the primary strength and conditioning coach for the Field Hockey and Softball teams. Before returning to Boston University, she spent four years as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Harvard University (2017-21), working with a wide variety of varsity sport programs and student-athletes.

Beth is certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and USA Weightlifting. She was recognized with the CSCCa Lance Vermeil Award, which honors strength and conditioning professionals who demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to the profession. In 2026, Beth was also named an Approved Mentor through the CSCCa.

Lazarus earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Boston University in 2016 and later completed a Master of Education in Applied Human Development with a specialization in Coaching from Boston University in 2023.
