2023: Appeared in nine games while making one start.. Earned two ground balls and one caused turnover..
2022: Played in eight games and made three starts as a junior. Had four ground balls for the season and caused a turnover against Maryland (3/13).
2021: Made 11 appearances for Villanova, including three starts. Totaled four ground balls and two caused turnovers in her games played.
2020: Mainello appeared in seven games in her freshman year, making one start. She recorded a season total of 11 ground balls and one caused turnover.
Notre Dame Prep: Mainello competed in soccer and lacrosse. She earned First and Second Team Academic Honors, participated in Youth and Government, was elected Md. Chief Justice and participated in summer business internships. She was also a member of the Skywalkers Lacrosse Club for seven years and won multiple championships.
Personal: Mainello is the daughter of Stephen and Julie and has two siblings, Gino and Amanda. In her free time she enjoys dancing, playing the piano and guitar and sewing. She chose Villanova because of the Apostolic principles, school spirit, academic structure and the size and location to the city.
