Villanova Univeristy Athletics

2022: Played in all 16 games at midfield as a senior. Made 13 starts and was named All-BIG EAST Second Team.  Complied 20 ground balls, 10 draw controls and six caused turnovers. Had two caused turnovers in a home game against Georgetown. Against Marquette she had a career high five ground balls, with three draw controls.

2021: Phelps saw action in al 17 games, starting in 15 of them. Had the fourth most ground balls accounted for with 20. Scored one goal on five shots. Ended season with 10 caused turnovers and six draw controls. 

2020: In her sophomore season, Phelps started all eight games for the Wildcats in the midfield. She recorded 10 ground balls and five caused turnovers on the season.

2019: As a freshman, Phelps competed in two games before suffering an injury. At the midfield position she saw action against Duke (2/9) and Cornell (2/16). For the season, she collected three ground balls.

The Rivers School: At The Rivers School, Phelps competed on the cross country team and lacrosse team. In cross country, she earned three varsity letters but could not run senior year due to an injury. In lacrosse, she earned four varsity letters. For lacrosse she earned All-League Honor Mention in 2015, All-League ISL First Team in 2016-2018, was a US All-American and also won the Coach's Award in 2017 and 2018. In cross country she was an All-League and All-ISL selection in 2015 and 2016 and in 2015 she was an All-New England selection. She ended her lacrosse career with a school record of 211 goals and ranked second in the league. Phelps also participated on the Lower New England team at national tournament from 2016-2018 and her team were National Champions in 2017. 

Personal: Phelps is the daughter of Jack and Colleen and has a younger brother named Michael. Her father played football at Holy Cross as the quarterback and punter from 1985-1889. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working in Chatham Cape Cod during the summers and going to the beach. Villanova was everything Phelps was looking for in a school. She chose VU because of the challenging academics, the competitive lacrosse program on the rise, the small school environment and location and the strong, committed and winning coaching staff that can help her reach her potential on and off the field.
