Kevin Miller

Kevin Miller serves as an Associate Athletic Director and the Director of Sports Performance at Villanova University, a role he has held since 2018. He works directly with the Women's Basketball, Women's Cross Country, and Cheer programs while providing strategic leadership for the university's Sports Performance team. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Miller oversees a variety of administrative initiatives that support the department's comprehensive approach to student-athlete development and performance.
 
Prior to joining Villanova, Miller spent seven years with Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union as the organization's Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Sports Massage Therapist. In that role, he traveled extensively with the team and collaborated closely with the club's high-performance staff to develop and implement strategies related to nutrition, recovery, sports science, and return-to-play programming.
 
With more than two decades of experience in the field of athletic performance, Miller is a respected educator and frequent presenter at professional seminars and conferences. His presentations have addressed a wide range of topics, including training the female athlete, ACL injury reduction, nutrition, heart rate variability, and advanced recovery strategies.
 
Miller earned a Bachelor of Science from Millersville University in 1994. He holds credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Licensed Massage Therapist, and is certified in Functional Range Release (FRR). His professional interests include manual therapy, respiration and breathwork for high performance, stress management, energy system development, nutrition, and injury prevention.
 
A native of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, Miller resides in Springfield, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Mary Jo, and their three children, Ryan, Connor, and Kate.
