2026: Started in all 14 games during his final season on the Main Line … Tied his career high with 24 caused turnovers on the year (second best on team) in addition to 23 ground balls … Caused at least one turnover in 12 different games as a senior … Sits third in Villanova history for caused turnovers and top 20 for games played … Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll with three caused turnovers and a trio of ground balls against St. Joe's … Totaled seven ground balls and two caused turnovers versus Drexel and Penn for another honor roll accolade … Tallied his first point of the year with an assist against Denver … Caused a career-best six turnovers at Marquette … Scored his first collegiate goal in the BIG EAST Semifinal bout at Providence.

2025: Unanimously earned All-BIG EAST First Team after again starting every game for the Wildcats… Was also selected to earn the nod to the all-conference squad in the preseason iteration of the vote… Caused 17 turnovers and 19 ground balls as a junior while also notching three points, all coming on assists… Forced three turnovers against Colgate and St. John’s… Caused two turnovers in the BIG EAST Semifinal win over Providence.

2024: A top defenseman on the Wildcats who started all 16 games his sophomore campaign… Had 41 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers to go along with a massive assist in the BIG EAST Semifinal win over Denver… Had six ground balls whilst causing three turnovers against Providence on April 6… Was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on February 26 for his three caused turnover and four ground ball performance against Colgate.
 
2023: Appeared in all 15 games for the Wildcats… Tallied 11 ground balls including a career high three in the win over Drexel… Forced 10 turnovers and had multiple caused turnovers in three separate games… Attempted three shots on the year.
 
Loyola High School: Earned three varsity letters in lacrosse and one in football … As a lacrosse player his scholastic totals included 81 ground balls, 26 caused turnovers, 12 goals and six assists … As a senior was a first team All-CIF selection and the Mission League Defensive Player of the Year … Two-time first team All-Mission League as a junior and a senior … Helped his team win a CIF-SS championship his junior year … Team captain as a senior … Junior varsity lacrosse captain as a sophomore and football captain as a junior.

Personal: Born 7/14/03 … Youngest of three children of Peter and Elizabeth Shoemaker … Has two older siblings, Libby and P.J. … Father and two uncles played college lacrosse at Penn … Uncle, John, was a first team All-Ivy performer before playing professionally for the New York Arrows … Has a cousin who was a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team at Virginia … Enjoys golfing, fishing and being outside in his spare time … Chose to attend Villanova because it was the best fit for him academically and athletically … Noted that every person he met made him feel welcome on campus and loved attending the school.
