East Islip High School: Played three varsity seasons as a goalkeeper … Selected as an Honorable Mention All-American after his senior year … Named Suffolk County Goalie of the Year and Newsday Second Team All-Long Island in 2025 … Earned First Team All-NYS Class B in 2024 in addition to a pair of All-County selections … Made over 400 career saves with a percentage over 60 before his senior season … New Balance and Under Armour Underclass All-American … Named a three-star recruit by Inside Lacrosse … Also played one year of varsity football as an outside linebacker and offensive tackle … Spent two years on the track team … Finished in the top 10 percent of his graduating class … Named an AP scholar and earned double digit mentions on the high honor roll.
Personal: Born 9/4/07 … One of three children of Tabitha and Alfred Walendowski … Has two siblings, Jake and Avery … Dad played baseball at Iona from 1990-91 … Chose Villanova because "I love the lacrosse program and I'm super excited about all of the opportunities available to me being a Villanova student-athlete" … Plans to major in business.
