Villanova Career: All-BIG EAST Second Team in 2025 … Earned a BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll nod (April 7, 2025) … Named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List, given to the top shortstop in the country … Appeared in 132 games with 126 starts … Has a .286 batting average with 138 hits, 25 doubles, four triple, 15 home runs and 78 runs batted in … Two-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team … Four-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2025: One of two Villanova players to start in all 50 games … Played the season’s first 21 games at third base and the remaining 29 at shortstop … Tallied career-bests in hits (59), runs (46), RBI (32), triples (3) and home runs (9) ... Recorded a .307 batting average, a .419 on-base percentage and a .526 slugging percentage … Posted 15 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games … Put together a team-best 11-game hitting streak … Closed the season on a 30-game on-base streak, the longest by a Villanova player since 2006 … Became the first Wildcat to hit a home run in three straight games since 2008.

2024: Started in all 50 games he appeared in … Recorded a .258 batting average, .414 slugging percentage and a .382 on-base percentage … In 186 at-bats, he had 48 hits which included 14 doubles, five home runs, 32 walks and 31 RBI … Defensively recorded 59 putouts, 112 assists and a .950 fielding percentage … Had one of his best outings of the season against Butler on May 11 where he went 3-6 with a double, home run and two RBI.

2023: Appeared in 38 games with 31 starts … Recorded a batting average of .303, slugging percentage of .370, and on-base percentage of .364 …Went 36-119 with three doubles, one triple, one home run, and 16 RBIs … Defensively had 59 putouts, 61 assists, five errors, and a fielding percentage of .960 … Had a season high four RBIs, one home run, and six assists at Butler on March 15 … Recorded 12 multi-hit games this past season, and four games with three.

Ramapo High School: Played baseball as a shortstop during his scholastic career earning three varsity letters in the sport … A first team all county and second team all-county selection … He is second in all time RBIs in his school record book … Played for Canes American team … Was a member of the honor roll his sophomore and senior years.

Personal: Born 06/08/04 in Wyckoff, NJ. … Son of John and Joanne Whooley … Has two sibling, John and Stephen … Chose to attend Villanova due to the academic reputation and the ability to play colligate athletics and improve his baseball skills in the program … His older brother John Whooley plays on the Villanova Baseball team as a catcher and will be a senior this upcoming season … Undecided in major.
