Villanova Career: Played a key role in the pitching rotation through his first two seasons, appearing in 36 games with 20 starts … Recorded 105.2 innings pitched with a 6.39 ERA … Member of the 2023-24 BIG EAST All-Academic Team … Named to Athletic Director’s Honor Roll three times.
 
2025: Appeared in 18 games with 12 starts .. Had a 6.60 ERA through a career-high 61.1 innings pitched … Tallied a 5-5 record with two saves … Posted a career-best 34 strikeouts with just 15 walks … Had a career-high five strikeous while throwing six scorless innings vs. LIU (March 30).
 
2024: Appeared in 18 games with eight starts … Had a 6.09 ERA with 44.1 innings of work with a 3-7 record … Held batters to a .297 batting average … On 202 batters faced he gave up 51 hits, 32 (30 earned), 18 walks and struck out 15 … His longest outing was six innings pitched against Seton Hall on April 12 where he held his opponent to four hits, one run and striking out three.
 
The Pingry School: Was the captain of his baseball team his senior year … Earned a varsity letter in basketball as well as baseball … Holds the career strikeouts record at his alma mater … First-team all-Skyland in 2022, first-team all-state nonpublic in 2023, and first-team all-prep in 2022, 2023 … Distinguished honor roll and Somerset County scholar athlete.
 
Personal: Born 2/17/2005 in Westfield, NJ … Son of Paul and Susan Francis … Has two siblings, Connor and Taylor … Chose Villanova because he felt that this was the best place to play on a high-level Division I program while also being able to push himself academically with a great education.
