Eric Dixon has become a force for Villanova Basketball, steadily improving each season to become the program's all-time leading scorer and one of the nation's most prolific scorers this season. The Willow Grove, Pa. native leads the nation in scoring at 23.1 points per game, scoring in double figures in all but one game this season. He has hit 20+ points in all but 11 contests in the 2024-25 campaign, adding in five 30-point games.

After redshirting his freshman 2019-20 campaign, the forward has been a mainstay in the Villanova rotation starting in all but 21 of his over 160 appearances on the court. In that time, he has improved his scoring output each season, scoring over 500 points in each of his last two seasons and currently sitting over the 750-point threshold this season. The last three seasons have landed him amongst the top single-season scorers in program history. His current campaign places him at fourth with 786 points. His 566 points in the 2023-24 season and 525 points in the 2021-22 season are the 32nd and 47th-most points scored in a Villanova season. He holds the program record for career points (2,285), games played (161) and sits ninth for rebounding (897).

Eric Dixon, I mean, he's the best player in the country. I was at the Celtics-Kings the other night - I think he's a first round draft pick. He's an NBA wing today. He's so good from all over the floor. ... He's going to play a long time in the NBA. He's the best player in college basketball.
Kim English, Providence Head Coach
