Baltimore native averaged 13.3 ppg at Oregon in 2025-26

VILLANOVA, Pa. – Forward Kwame Evans, a 6-10 native of Baltimore, Md., who started 30 games at Oregon as a junior in 2025-26, has signed an aid agreement to enroll at Villanova as a transfer student for his senior year in 2026-27.

Evans averaged 30.9 minutes, 13.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots per game last season. He finished ninth in Big Ten rebounding.

"Kwame's unique combination of athleticism, length, and skill will help us at both ends of the court," said Villanova head coach Kevin Willard. "He brings to Villanova the kind of intelligence, character and experience that impacts winning in all sorts of ways. We're excited to welcome Kwame to the Nova Nation."

Evans was a 2023 McDonald's All-American while at Montverde Academy (the alma mater of former Wildcat James Bell). He was listed as the nation's No. 14 recruit in the class of 2023 by ESPN. As a freshman in Eugene, Evans averaged 7.3 points per game, starting 29 times. As a sophomore with the Ducks, he averaged 6.1 points and 4.6 caroms per contest.
