VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Villanova Women's Basketball season – presented by PGP Solutions – is right around the corner, and VU Athletics has unveiled a robust promotional schedule and new enhancements to the gameday experience for the 2026-27 campaign. The home game slate kicks off on Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. when Merrimack comes to the Main Line for Villanova's home opener and Military Appreciation Game.
There will be 13 other chances to catch the Wildcats' women's team at the Finneran Pavilion this year, highlighted by a Christmas-themed game against UConn on December 23, mascot Will D. Cat's birthday celebration on January 10 and the Fan Appreciation game on February 21.
Other promotions include a Family Fun Day, a Girl Dad game and National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration.

SHAKE SHACK "SCORING FOR SHACKS" 70 POINTS CHALLENGE: When Villanova hits 70 points during a game, fans can receive a free Shack Burger the next day with any purchase at any Philly-area Shake Shack using their ticket from the game.
TOMMY'S TAVERN & TAP - WE WIN, YOU WIN: If Villanova wins, fans receive 50 percent off a medium specialty pizza at any participating Tommy's Tavern & Tap within one day of the game by showing their ticket. This offer is valid for one per guest per ticket, dine-in only and has no cash value.
Also, the following new initiatives will be in place this season:
Food & Beverage Items: Fans should come hungry! New items in the Finneran Pavilion include Little Caesars Pizza, ice cream, frozen drinks and specialty cocktails. Each game will also feature a different special "Menu Item of the Game" such as burgers, crab cakes, tacos and more!
50/50 Raffle: Fans can take a shot at a big payday by participating in the electronic 50/50 raffle at every home game. Tickets can be purchased in the arena by visiting the 50/50 raffle sales locations on the concourse or via one of the roaming sellers in the stands. Raffle tickets will be sold by credit card only, and fans do not need to be present to win. Proceeds from the raffle will support the Villanova Athletic Fund (VAF), helping provide resources and opportunities for Wildcat student-athletes.
Group Experiences: Groups of 20 or more people can take part in a variety of unforgettable gameday opportunities including performing the national anthem as a school or choir group; participating in a halftime scrimmage on the court with a youth basketball team; or showcasing a routine with your dance team during halftime.
