VESTAL, N.Y. -- Due to circumstances at Binghamton, Wednesday night's volleyball match between Villanova and the Bearcats has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

VU began the season 2-0 as winners of the Catholic Challenge, sweeping Santa Clara and outlasting Notre Dame in five sets to cap off a successful season-opening slate in South Bend.

The Wildcats will return to the court this weekend, hosting the Villanova Classic at Jake Nevin Field House as Fairfield, High Point and Yale all descend upon the Main Line for a five-match weekend.
