Villanova men's lacrosse freshman Kessy Cox picked up a nationwide honor on Friday morning, being named to the Nike Lacrosse/Inside Lacrosse Power 100 Freshman Rankings in late August.

The first-year attackman came in at No. 92 on the list, moving the four-star recruit up five spots from his No. 97 ranking in the 2025 recruiting class.

A graduate of Radnor High, Cox finished his career as Pennsylvania's leader in points and assists while picking up a trio of state championships and scoring 120 points as a senior to earn First Team All-League in 2024.

The 6-foot-4 Radnor native spent a postgraduate year at The Hill School and was also an all-league basketball player in addition to playing for the nationally ranked NXT 2024 club lacrosse team for multiple years. 

Cox and the Wildcats will begin offseason practices in the coming weeks in preparation for the 2026 season that'll begin in early February.
