Hull Earns ACWPC All-American Honorable Mention Nod

She is the second All-American in program history

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Riley Hull's breakout year at Villanova continues with another honor added to her ledger as she was named a 2025 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Division I All-America Honorable Mention on Friday morning.

The freshman is now just the second Wildcat to ever be named an All-American. The last 'Cat to earn the distinction was assistant coach Kaysie Stuba back in 2022, also earning honorable mention status.

This latest accolade brings the San Diego, Calif. native to three major awards this postseason, adding to her MAAC Rookie of the Year, first in program history, and All-MAAC Second Team plaudits. Hull broke the freshman goal-scoring record this year, finding the back of the net 81 times. She tacked on 36 assists for 117 points, making 160 shot attempts along the way. She made her way into various record book lists for single-season highs by the end of the year for the 'Cats, sitting third for goals, fifth for points, tied for eighth in sprint wins (45), fifth for exclusions drawn (69) and also tied the most points in a single game with 10 against VMI on April 13, 2025.
