SPARKS GLENCOE, MD - Villanova women's lacrosse losses 10-15 to Richmond on Saturday afternoon.

Sami Carey totaled three assists in today's game, helping her break the program record for assist, She now was 114 total assist, breaking Katie Comerfords 111 assists.
Sydney Pappas led the team with three goals, two assists, two ground balls and a caused turnover.
Rose Christie had two goals, one assist and three draw controls.
Katie Clark and
Cate Gallagher both racked in two ground balls and three caused turnovers, with Gallagher totaling 12 saves.
In the first quarter, Christie was the first to score, with
Bella Piselli scoring shortly after. Pappas was the next Wildcat to find the back of the net, with the help of
Jillian Vaught. Pappas then helped
Leslie Iorio score her first of the game. The Spiders score there first goal, with Pappas scores back to back goals making the score 6-1 at the end of the first.
Richmond then scores seven unanswered goals in the second quarter, putting them up 8-6 at the end of the first half.
The spiders open up the third quarter with three goals, before Christie ended the 10 goal run with the help of Pappas. As the times runs out in the third, Richmond scores to put the score at 13-7.
Madison Freeman has a quick goal at 14:22 in the fourth. Carey finds, Iorio for her second goal of the day and then goes on to help Vaught find the back of the net, putting the final score at 15-10.
The Wildcats has one more regular season game, as they travel to Denver for another BIG EAST game on Saturday. Opening draw is set for 2pm Eastern time.
