GENEVA, Ohio - The BIG EAST Swimming and Diving hardware is brought home by the women's team for the 12
th consecutive year on Thursday, marking the programs 17
th win since 1992. The men's team finished in fourth place for the third straight season.
The women's team scored 1588 points, their highest score in program history, while the men's team scored 588, behind Xazier at 688.

Aaron Green were named the Coaching Staff of the Year for the 12
th season straight.
The Wildcats swam away with eight medals, five for the women and three for the men, and another school record in the final day of competition. Over the course of four days of action the 'Cats earned 23 medals, 16 for the women and seven for the men, and broke five school records.
Alexa Fegley scored 287 in the 3-meter dive prelims on Thursday afternoon, breaking a program record. She then went on to finish fourth in finals.
Meghan Scott finished with bronze with her score of 285.60 in the finals. This is her first medal as a Wildcat and a new personal best.
The 200 Back was successful for both teams.
Alana Leen earned gold with her time of 1:57.26, marking the 10
th year Villanova has earned gold in this event.
Josh Seidman took bronze touching the wall at 1:48.19.
In the 200 Fly,
Anna Farley swam 1:58.37, helping her achieve silver with the second fastest time in Villanova history.
Justin Nowicki also bumped up to the second fastest time with his 1:47.01 finish, giving him bronze.
Katie White earned silver in the 1650 Free with her time of 16:31.93. This time was a personal best and helps her make an NCAA B-cut.
Men's and women's 400 free relays brought home bronze. Clocking in at 3:21.23 was Carlota Colomer, Farley,
Riley Kudlac and
Lexi Elkovitch, while the men swam 3:00.04 with quartet of
Patrick Hemingway,
Sam Randall,
Gavin Peck and
Mikey Thurk. That time for the men came four-hundredths of a second shy of matching the program record set back in 1997.
