Tilly O'Connor (Spring Lake, N.J.) tallied her best race of the outdoor season in the 800 meters and senior distance runner
Elizabeth Vaughn (Dayton, Ohio) finished first in the 3000 meters in the day's final individual race.
O'Connor finished third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.64 and came in ahead of senior
Kate Flynn (Gray, Tenn.) who registered a time of 2:26.91. Sophomore
Kinsey Pogue (Danville, Calif.) had a good race in the 1500 meters and finished sixth with a time of 4:48.61. First year collegian
Caelen O'Leary (Taunton, Mass.) posted a time of 1:00.09 in the 400 meters. Later in the meet, the quartet of O'Leary, O'Connor, Flynn and Pogue combined to win the 4x400 meter relay in the day's final event.
In Saturday's sprint events, first year runner
Djoonicka Buissereth (North Babylon, N.Y.) recorded times of 12.84 in the 100 meters and 27.68 in the 200 meters. Fellow freshman
Lore Olakunle (Elkridge, Md.) posted a time of 12.69 in the 100 meters. Vaughn lowered her personal best in the 3000 meters for the second straight outing and tallied a first place finish with a time of 10:01.04.
Junior high jumper
Taylor Woodeshick (Nescopeck, Pa.) tallied an eighth place finish at the meet with a height of 1.55 meters.
