STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.—Villanova sophomores Daelyn Nwaobasi (Nashville, Tenn.) and Sanjay Persaud (Bloomingburg, N.Y.) were in action at the Penn 10-Team Select on Saturday night as the Wildcats continued the indoor season with their first competition of the new calendar year. The team had a group of two men and seven women competing at Ocean Breeze Track & Field Athletic Complex.
 
Nwaobasi started strong on Saturday evening and recorded a jump of 6.41 meters on his first jump of the season. Persaud registered a mark of 6.33 meters on his third and final attempt of the evening. Click on the link at the top of this release to access full results from the meet.
