Villanova continued three days of competition at The Armory with two sprints and the long jump during Friday's action.
Williamson came within .02 of matching her school record in the 60 meters with her time of 7.39 in Friday's final. She now holds the 15 fastest times in the Wildcats record book, including the two marks recorded in her most recent competition. Williamson won her preliminary heat in 7.45 and was ranked third out of 44 total entries in the prelim round. She maintained that position with her time in the final two hours later.
The time of 7.39 that Williamson ran in the final would have tied for 26

Williamson has broken the school record in the 60 meters on multiple occasions during her career, most recently during the 2018 season when she lowered her lifetime best to the current Villanova standard of 7.37. Her times on Friday will slide onto the Wildcats top-10 list at third and tied for seventh, respectively.
Also on Friday's schedule was the 60 meter hurdles, in which junior

Jada Thomas (Kingston, Jamaica) each had strong performances in their second competition of the season. Jones came in 13
th overall out of 40 competitors in the preliminaries with a time of 8.62, while Thomas followed in 14
