Competition Wraps Up at Lions Invitational

EWING, N.J. - Villanova concluded the Lions Invitational with four events on the schedule at the TCNJ Track & Field Complex on Saturday afternoon. Highlighting the Wildcats results was a personal best mark in the long jump for sophomore multi-event athlete Michael Morrow (Danbury, Conn.).

Morrow registered a jump of 6.35 meters and placed 16th in a field of 41 athletes. Sophomore Aaron Elcock (West Chester, Pa.) came in 10th in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 13.41 meters. In the pole vault, senior Kolby Koeck (Altoona, Pa.) cleared the bar at 4.25 meters and tied for sixth out of 18 competitors.

Freshman throwers Jadyn Anczarski (Ringtown, Pa.) and Chika Nwachukwu (Lawrence, N.J.) competed in the discus and recorded throws of 39.93 meters and 38.12 meters, respectively.
