• Villanova has finished in the top three in 24 of its 34 appearances all-time at the BIG EAST Championships, including a conference-record 14 team titles at the meet ââ'¬Â¦ The third place finish for the Wildcats this year is the highest since 2011, when Villanova won the last in a string of four straight championships.

• Freshman Bella Burda and sophomore Siofra Cleirigh Buttner each earned first team All-BIG EAST honors. Villanova has now had a total of 116 all-conference performers all-time, including 39 All-BIG EAST selections for head coach Gina Procaccio

• Bella Burda (19:52.9) and Siofra Cleirigh Buttner (20:06.6) ran personal best 6,000 meters times in the race and both moved onto the Wildcats all-time top 10 for that distance. Burda's time is the sixth-fastest ever by a Villanova runner on a 6K cross country course. Cleirigh Buttner posted a personal best time for the second straight race. She previously had a time of 20:33.2 at the Pre-NCAA Meet two weeks ago.
