Overall thoughts...

"I think we played really hard. There were a few errors we could've avoided, but we played really hard against a very physical team and we blocked really well."

On what was learned from playing WKU and what needs to be done preparing for conference...

" We learned that we can play with anyone on the court. Even with a different setter we can still compete against really good teams. Heading into conference, we need to work on cutting down errors (offensively) and playing efficient volleyball this week to prepare for DePaul and UND."

Overall thoughts on Missouri match...

"We served very well, which kept us in the match, but if we had served even better we could've won it. We defended very well and that kept us in, but we need to be smarter offensively."

On what was learned playing WKU and the approach with a new setter...

"With Kim (Maroon) setting, we really needed to take chances - especially serving - and be aggressive. Western is very good, but very tough, even tougher when you are as beat up as we were."

On what needs to be done to prepare for conference...

"In conference we will use the same preparation. We have Depaul on Saturday and they are much better this year. We will get back and start taking a look at the film tonight and tomorrow."
