Randy Foye, a legendary Villanova basketball player in the early 2000s, serves as the president of VU's NIL maximization partner Friends of Nova.

In this role, he will mentor student-athletes in addition to educating and informing alumni on the positive community and event driven opportunities Friends of Nova will offer.

In his senior year, he helped carry the Wildcats to their best record in a decade with the program's first BIG EAST regular season title since ‘97. After leading the 'Cats to the first NCAA #1 seed in program history, he was named BIG EAST Player of the Year and a consensus All-American.

Randy was selected seventh overall in the 2006 NBA draft and went on to enjoy an 11-year career in the National Basketball Association.

Randy has seen firsthand the difficulties for kids growing up in a tough, urban environment, prompting him to establish the Randy Foye Foundation which develops programs and projects aimed directly at improving the lives of children in his home town of Newark, NJ.
