Nora Toney is a Director of Equipment Operations for Villanova Athletics and serves as the equipment director for the women's basketball, swimming & diving, cheer, rowing, softball and volleyball teams.
Toney joined the VU staff in February of 2020 as the Assistant Director of Equipment Operations and was promoted to her current position in June 2022.
Nora came to Villanova from her alma mater McDaniel College, where she served as Head Athletic Equipment Manager from 2017 to 2020.
Toney began her equipment experience as a student at McDaniel, functioning as an equipment manager and football equipment assistant all four years of her undergraduate career.Â
Nora also has a wealth of experience in the world of aquatics, serving as a Swim Team Coach at the Ridley Area YMCA since 2016 and a head lifeguard & swim instructor at the Greater Philadelphia YMCA for seven years.
Toney is a graduate of Ridley High School and earned a Bachelor's in Exercise Science from McDaniel in 2014, then a Master of Science in Kinesiology in 2023 from McDaniel.
