Villanova Univeristy Athletics

Nino Vanin joined Playfly Sports in May 2023 to lead the Villanova Sports Properties team.

Vanin has more than 15 years of experience in commercial sales and corporate partnerships in the Philadelphia market, and joined Playfly Sports from JMI Sports where he led the company’s multi-media rights partnerships in the Northeast region with Penn, Columbia and Harvard, among others. 

Prior to that he worked for Comcast-Spectacor & Spectra, where he was Vice President of Business Development and led new business efforts in the collegiate athletics space for their Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality divisions.

Vanin is a native of Amherst, Mass., and a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he was a member of the Blue Jays basketball team. He also holds a master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts.
