Mike Sheridan joined the Villanova Athletics team in 1998 and has served as the primary media contact for the Men’s Basketball program ever since. In 2018 he was elecated to his current role.
In addition to serving as the program’s primary conduit to local and national media, Sheridan has also served as a coordinating producer of the “Inside Villanova Basketball” television show, which airs on NBC Sports Philly. In addition, he serves as the men’s soccer contact at Villanova.
In 2019, Sheridan was the recipient of the Katha Quinn Award, presented by the United States Basketball Writers Association for contributions to college basketball. In addition, he was awarded the Nova Nation Award in 2017 and was a co-author of the New York Times bestseller, “Attitude” with former coach Jay Wright.
Sheridan, a graduate of Fordham University, is a former Managing Editor at Basketball Times and Eastern Basketball. He and his wife Kristin make their home in Havertown.
