Eryca Bennett is the Director of Student-Athlete Development at Villanova, a position she was promoted to in March of 2023.
In this role, Bennett works with all 24 varsity teams and oversees community service & social justice initiatives, personal & professional development programming and helps to provide mental health and well-being resources & education for student-athletes.
Eryca also sits on the UNITAS Executive Leadership Team, providing a comprehensive approach to DEI initiatives and serving as an advisor for Every Mind Matters and the BIPOC student-athlete group.
Bennett came to VU in August 2021 as a McLendon Leadership Fellow, working primarily in the Office of Academic Support for Athletics and Student-Athlete Development/UNITAS.
Prior to Villanova, Bennett spent a year as a paraprofessional aide at Delsea Regional Middle School in addition to roles as a marketing and brand management intern for GamePlan and CBS Sports extern.
Eryca received her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Rutgers University in 2020. While at Rutgers, she served four years as an intern in Olympic sport operations as well as the head manager for the women's basketball team.
