Devin Hassinger '18 is a proud Villanova University alumna and former women’s lacrosse student-athlete, now serving as Executive Director of Friends of Nova (FON), Villanova’s official Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) maximization partner.
A dynamic leader known for building relationships that drive results, Devin oversees FON’s strategic direction, partnerships, and revenue generation. In this role, she leads efforts that connect student-athletes, alumni, donors and partners to advance Villanova Athletics and ensure student-athletes have the tools, education, and opportunities to succeed both on and off the field.
Before taking the helm at Friends of Nova, Hassinger spent five years with Villanova Athletics Development, rising from graduate intern to Assistant Director of Athletics Development. In that role, she managed key fundraising events and operations, enhanced donor engagement and annual giving benefits, and played a vital role in strategic initiatives that strengthened the department’s philanthropic impact.
A former student-athlete on the Villanova women’s lacrosse team, Devin concluded her collegiate career earning All-BIG EAST First Team honors and setting then-program records for both all-time and single-season draw controls. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Passionate about innovation, community, and empowerment, Devin is dedicated to expanding the reach and impact of Villanova’s NIL initiatives through creative experiences, meaningful partnerships and mission-driven leadership.
Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, interior decorating, Eagles games and spending time with her family, friends, and golden retriever Kylo.
