Austin Yayer is a video coordinator at Villanova, a position he's served in since June 2022.
In this role, Yayer coordinates the internal creative production elements, including filming and editing athletic department videos for website content, social media and game productions. Yayer oversees video operations for men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's basketball, baseball, women's lacrosse and track & field.
Yayer came to VU as a video production intern after the COVID-19 pandemic and was promoted to his current role at the conclusion of his internship.
Prior to Villanova, Austin interned in the video department at Harvard University Athletics as a multimedia producer and director.
Originally from Havertown, Yayer attended Temple University and earned a degree in 2019 in Media Studies and Production with a Business minor and a Film certificate. Prior to Temple, Yayer played soccer and ran track at Haverford High.
