Trione Outstanding Leadership Award and was named an Oxford Scholar as a senior … Recipient of her school’s Leadership Award as a junior and, as a sophomore, was the Student of the Year in Math and Religion.
Personal: One of two children of Tyler and Kelly Suacci … Has a younger brother, Dylan … Chose to attend Villanova because it combined the things she was looking for in both a university and a team … Was drawn to the closeknit community, respected Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience program, strong Catholic values, and the opportunity to compete at the Division I level … Noted that from her first conversations with the coaching staff she felt valued and knew that Villanova was a place she could continue to develop as both an athlete and an individual while pursuing her academic goals … Outside of athletics was a four-year member of Fre To Be, served as a teen speaker and youth leader, and spoke to more than 200 students about confidence, bullying prevention, mental health and healthy social media use … Helped to write grants that secured more than $3,000 for youth programs … Nominated for the Center of Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership Youth Volunteer of the Year in recognition of her service … Worked as a private math tutor and summer camp counselor where she developed a passion for helping young people build confidence, discover their strengths and grow as leaders … Plans to major in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience.
