2019: During her senior year, Maita started in all 18 contests for the Wildcats and served as team captain. She finished the year with six goals and two assists. Her season high goals scored came in her team’s 12-7 win over Siena (2/23) where she scored two goals. Maita also dished out a season high two assists against Georgetown (4/13). Additionally, she collected five ground balls, caused five turnovers and caused one turnover. Maita finished her career at Villanova with 56 games under her belt, 20 goals, 14 assists, 34 ground balls, and 19 caused turnovers.

2018: Maita competed in 13 contests for the Wildcats, making eight starts. She scored 11 goals and recorded seven assists for 18 points. She also recorded 13 ground balls, five caused turnovers and 19 draw controls. In the team's 13-12 win over UConn (4/4) she scored a season high three goals. 

2017: Competed in 15 games during her sophomore year. Recorded one assist, seven ground balls, four draw controls and caused nine turnovers. 

2016: Appeared in 10 games, cracking the starting lineup against Rutgers (2/12)… Registered seven points on three goals and four assists… Tallied two points against Rutgers (2/12) and Saint Joseph’s (3/23)…Posted two ground balls and three draw controls. 

WEST MORRIS MENDHAM: 2nd team all county, 2nd team all conference, 3rd team all group 3, 100 plus goals list, voted top defender Group 3, captain, 4 year varsity player, 3 year starter. Played high school lacrosse with fellow sophomore Christine Graziano and former Villanova defender Mariah Salerno.

PERSONAL: Born on August 31, 1997. From Mendham, NJ. Parents are John Maita and Cathy Maita, one sister Camryn.. Father, 2 uncles, and one aunt graduated from Villanova. Uncle played Football at Colgate, Grandfather played football at William and Mary. Carlye is enrolled in the college of liberal arts and sciences.
