2017-18: Named to the All-BIG EAST Team for the second year in a row. During his senior year he primarily swam the breaststroke, IM, Freestyle relay and medley relay. He set new personal bests in the 200-breaststroke and 200-IM at the BIG EAST Championships. In the 200-breast he recorded a 2:00.63 and in the 200 IM he clocked in at 1:50.53. Nussbaum also helped his 200 and 400-medley relay teams secure first place finishes at the championships and set new program records. In the 200-medley relay they recorded a time of 1:28.53 and in the 400-medley relay the recorded a time of 3:14.70.
2016-17: Named to the All-BIG EAST Team for his performances in the 200-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, and 400-yard medley relay at the BIG EAST Championships…Helped the 200-yard medley relay (1:29.26) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:21.18) set school records at the meet…Finished in fifth place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 56.61 (56.31 in prelims) at the meet…Placed fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke, touching the wall at 2:03.20 (2:03.08 in prelims)…Had a third place finish in the “B” final and placed 11thoverall in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:52.09…Competed in the freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and IM events.
2015-16: Swam in 10 meets on the year ... Primarily swam in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes, 200 backstroke and the breaststroke portions of the 200 and 400 medley relays ... Swam in five events at the BIG EAST Championships including the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 100 freestyle, 400 freestyle, and 400 medley. Owned the team's top times of the season in the 100 breaststroke (56.55) and 200 breaststroke(2:05.04). Had the second best 200 IM (1:52.91)
time of the season.
