Biography
2007-08: Finished first in the 50 yard free at Georgetown with a time of 21.94...Won the 200 yard free at Widener... Finished second in the 100 yard free against Widener... Placed second in the 100 yard free with a time of 48.10 at against Georgetown...Against Delaware, he touched in second place in the 100 yard free...Was a part of the 400 yard free relay that placed seventh at the Maryland Invitational.
2006-07: Was second in the 50 free against La Salle, just one tenth of a second off the first place time... Won both the 50 free and 100 free events against Georgetown... took home first place in the 50 free against Widener with a time of 22.16... Picked up a first place finish in the 100 free against Widener.
High School: Two-time All-American in the 200 Free Relay... was a member of the team that swam the fastest 200 Free Relay in the Washington, D.C. area his senior year... named to the Washington Post All-Met Honorable Mention his junior and senior seasons.
Personal: An undecided Business major...son of Garry O. Whipkey and Marybeth McAteer...has one younger brother, Brendan (16)...born May 19, 1988.
