2023-24: Posted season bests in the 50 Free (20.64), 100 Free (45.44), 200 Free (1:42.63) and 100 Back (50.74), all at the BIG EAST Championships and as personal bests; BIG EAST Championships (2/28-3/2): Made the Championship Final in the 100 Free, clocking in at 45.44 for an eighth-place finish … Was third in the B final of the 50 Free (20.70) to finish 11^th overall … Posted a 50-free personal best of 20.64 as the opening leg in the 200 Free Relay; West Virginia (1/27): Led Villanova in both the 50 Free (21.47) and 100 Free (46.92), finishing third … Anchored the A team with a 45.88 split in a third-place 400 Free Relay showing; Providence (1/13): Went 53.59 in the 100 SC Free to take third … Opening leg 24.68 for the A team’s second-place finish in the 200 SC Free Relay; La Salle (11/4): Won the 50 Free in 21.68 … Posted a 20.88 anchor split for the A team’s 200 Medley Relay win; NJIT (11/3): Led Villanova in the 50 Free with a third-place time of 21.63 … Part of two second-place relays with A teams, clocking a 21.13 anchor split in the 200 Medley and a 46.36 second leg in the 400 Free Relay; Rider (11/1): Went 21.11 as the second leg in the A team’s 200 Free Relay second-place finish.
 
2022-23: Individual point-scorer in one event as a sophomore at the BIG EAST Championships, making the Consolation Final in the 50 Free … Had five top-three individual swims on the year; BIG EAST Championships (2/22-25): Finished 12^th in the 50 Free (21.00) as the only Wildcat in the finals of that event; Providence (1/14): Won a close race in the 50 Free, touching in 21.72; La Salle (11/22): Notched a pair of top-three individual finishes … Won the 50 Free (21.39) and was third in the 100 Free (47.32); Penn (11/9): Swam the anchor leg (47.12) in the A team’s 400 Free Relay win (3:09.63); NJIT (11/5): Touched second in the 50 Free (21.45) … Part of two top-two relays with Villanova’s A teams, swimming anchor (21.35) for the second-place 200 Medley Relay (1:35.13) and lead-off (21.70) for the winning 200 Free Relay (1:25.50); Georgetown (10/29): Led Villanova in the 50 Free with a third-place finish (21.69) … Had a pair of anchor outings in relay action, helping Villanova to a third-place 200 Medley (1:35.07 / 21.17 split) and second-place 400 Free (3:09.15 / 46.91 split).
 
2021-22: Had a breakout showing in his debut season as a point-scorer in seven events at the BIG EAST Championships with three such performances happening in individual races; BIG EAST Championships (2/23-26): Earned a spot in the championship final of the 50 Free where he touched sixth with a personal-best time of 20.69 … Finished 13^th in the 100 Free (45.55) and 15^th in the 100 Fly (50.77) for PRs, as well; Penn State (1/28): Earned a fifth-place finish in the 50 Free with a 21.53 time at Penn State swam the anchor-leg of the winning 400 Free Relay team with a 47.83 split; West Virginia (1/22): Led Villanova swimmers in the 50 Free and 100 Free at West Virginia, finishing in third (21.44) and fourth (46.94), respectively … Helped the 400 Free Relay team to a second-place finish in that same meet, swimming an anchor-leg split of 46.33; Pittsburgh (1/20): Landed fourth in the 50 Free with a time of 21.45 while posting a 46.46 100 Free split on the 400 Free Relay team that finished third; Providence (1/15): Earned second in the 50 Free (24.11) and swam anchor for the winning 400 Free Relay team; La Salle (11/23): Won both the 50 Free (21.49) and 100 Free (47.08) and swam an anchor-leg split of 20.66 for the winning 200 Medley Relay team; WVU Invitational (11/18-20): Turned in a personal-best 200 Free time of 1:44.22 with a 19^th-place showing … Also earned a 12^th-place finishing at that event with a 21.25 in the 50 Free; Penn (11/10): Swam the opening leg for the 400 Free Relay team that won with a 3:12.61 time, turning in a 49.16 split and also finished second in the 50 Free (21.85); NJIT (11/5): Won the 50 Free (21.51); Georgetown (10/30): Earned top-five showings in both races, finishing second in the 50 Free (21.66) and fifth in the 100 Free (48.21).

Club Swimming: Competed for the Keystone Aquatics Club from 2019-21 and was a Futures and Junior Nationals qualifier.
 
Bishop McDevitt High School: Earned a total of seven varsity letters during his scholastic career, including four in swimming & diving to go along with two in track & field and one in tennis … Part of a team that won a PIAA 2A state title his senior year … Was a recipient of Pennsylvania citations from state representative Andrew Lewis and state senator John DiSanto for being a member of the state championship team … Two-time state champion as part of winning relay teams in the 400 free relay (leadoff leg) his sophomore year and the 200 medley relay (backstroke leg) his senior year … As a senior came in fourth individually at the state championships in the 50 free and the 100 back … School record holder in the 50 free and the 100 fly in addition to being part of school records in the 400 free relay and the 200 medley relay … Two-year team captain as a junior and a senior … Named to the PennLive All-Star Swim Team three straight years from his sophomore through senior seasons and was the PennLive Boys All-Star Swimmer of the Year as a senior … Nominated for the John Travers Award as a senior … Earned NHSCA Academic All-America honors all four years of high school … Inducted to the National Honor Society as a senior and was a two-year member of the National Math Honor Society … As a senior was a Bishop McDevitt High School Ambassador, was the winner of the Business Department Award and was presented with the Joseph Michael Kostelac Jr. Memorial Award given to a student who succeeded in academics and athletics while serving as a Christian leader in the school and community.
 
Personal: Born 9/25/02 in Harrisburg, Pa. … Younger of two sons of Kevin and Anna Hemingway … Has an older brother, Kevin (20) … Father was a collegiate track & field athlete at Drexel and competed in the shot put … Enjoys playing spike ball, chess, the drums and hiking in his spare time … Chose to attend Villanova because it offered a combination of excellent academic and athletic opportunities … Enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and has yet to declare a major.
