Villanova Career: Comes off a successful collegiate debut in 2021 when he earned All-BIG EAST honors on both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards … Finished third in both competitions at the conference championships … Registered a personal best score on the 3-meter board in the preliminaries at the BIG EAST meet … Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team as a freshman and earned a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2021 semester.
 
2020-21: Garnered All-BIG EAST honors in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions at the BIG EAST Championships … Finished third in both events in the first conference meet of his collegiate career … On the first night of the championships his score of 267.65 in the preliminary round of the 3-meter diving competition was a new career high … He wound up with a score of 527.30 after competition in the final … Also finished third on the 1-meter board with a score of 520.05 points … Was also third after the preliminaries with a score of 261.15 … Came in second to teammate Michael Ackert on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards in regular season dual meets against Delaware and Loyola (Md.).
 
Club Diving: Competed for the West Chester Diving Club.
 
Governor Mifflin High School: Earned four varsity letters in diving and was also a two-year member of the soccer team playing outside back and center midfield … Three-time state qualifier in diving from his sophomore through senior seasons … Was a state finalist as a junior and a senior, as well as a district champion as a junior … Three-time league champion from his sophomore through senior years … Named the Central Penn League Most Valuable Diver as a junior … Set school records for both six dives and 11 dives … Achieved Honor Roll status academically … Member of the National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Born in 2002 in Reading, Pa. … Only child of Michael and Jane Marie Clipman … Enjoys reading and playing the piano in his spare time, as well as spending time with friends … Chose to attend Villanova for the family atmosphere cultivated by the members of the swimming & diving program as well as for the school’s excellent educational opportunities … Enrolled in the Villanova School of Business and plans to major in Finance.
