2019-20: Perra wrapped up his Villanova career in spectacular fashion.At BIG EAST Championships, the senior captured first place in both the one and three-meter dive events en route to being named BIG EAST Male Diver of the Year for the third consecutive season. His final scores in the one-meter was 579.00, while his score in the three-meter was 568.10. Perra earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Team and was named to the 2020 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team.
2018-19: During his junior year, Perra competed at eight meets in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. At the BIG EAST Championships, he captured first place in both events and was named BIG EAST Male Diver of the Year. In the 1-meter at the championships he recorded a final score of 584.20 and in the 3-meter his final score was 617.70. His top scores in the regular season came against La Salle and at the Brown Invite. He posted a 310.42 on the low board against Explorers and a 321.10 on the high board at the Brown Invite. Perra was also named BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week twice and earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Team for his performance at the championships. He was also named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team for the second year in a row.
2017-18: Perra was named the Most Outstanding Men's Diver by the BIG EAST for winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive. His final score in the 1-meter was a 537.30 and he scored a 625.30 for the finals in the 3-meter dive. His best meet in the 1-meter was against Penn State (2/2), where he scored a 295.71. His best meet in the 3-meter was against Penn (11/11/17), where he scored a 324.60.
2016-17: Competed in seven meets this season…Tallied a score of 473.65 in the one-meter diving event at the BIG EAST Championships for a fourth-place finish…Recorded a fourth-place finish with a score of 469.90 in the three-meter dive at the BIG EAST Championships…His best meet was against Penn State on 2/3/17, where he scored a 278.24 in the one-meter dive and a 254.70 in the three-meter dive.
Cretin-Derham Hall: Four-year varsity letter winner under coach Annette Crews…Named Team Swimming and Diving MVP…Holds two school records in diving…Earned All-Conference and All-State…Member of National Honors Society and named to the President’s Honor Roll.
Personal: Son of Jerry and Eileen Perra…Has two siblings, Cameron and Danielle…Majoring in Biology with hopes of becoming a surgeon…Enjoys sailing, skiing and soccer…Chose Villanova because of the great education, community and focus on service.
