2018-19: In his final year as a Wildcat, Sabal swam in 12 events, including six during the BIG EAST Championships. He was named to the All-BIG EAST Team for his performance in the 200-medley relay (1:30.62). Sabal recorded a new personal best in the 100-fly with a time of 49.49 and a season best in the 200-fly with a time of 1:50.70. In the 200-free he also set a new personal best with a time of 1:44.56 against La Salle. In addition to the 200-medley relay and 100 and 200-fly events, he competed in the 400-medley relay (3:19.30), 400-free relay (3:04.26) and 500-freestyle (4:36.51).
2017-18: Sabal competed in 10 events during his junior year, including three events at the BIG EAST Championships. At the BIG EAST Championships, he recorded a new personal best in the 100-fly with a new time of 49.77. He also recorded his season best in the 200-fly and 500-free at the championships with a time of 1:50.29 in the fly and a time of 4:37.46 in the free.
2016-17: Swam in two individual events at the BIG EAST Championships…Placed third in the “B” final and 11thoverall in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 50.43 (50.37 in prelims)…Took sixth place overall in the 200-yard butterfly, touching the wall at 1:51.35 (1:50.21 in prelims)…Competed in freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and IM events during the season.
2015-16: Competed in three events at the 2016 BIG EAST Championships in East Meadow, N.Y. including the 200 backstroke, 100 and 200 butterfly...Owned the program's top time in the 100 backstroke at 53.76 which he accomplished at the 2015 Princeton Big Al Open...Also had the program top times in the 200 back (1:53.54) and 200 butterfly(1:53.41) both which he earned at the 2016 BIG EAST Championships.
Lakeville South: Earned five varsity letters in swimming under head coach Rick Ringeisen…Three-time all-conference and all-state…Senior year team MVP…USA Swimming Scholastic All-American 2014 and 2015…Personal high school bests of 51.42 in the 100 fly, 1:54.55 in the 200 fly, and 1:54.30 in the 200 IM…National Honor Society President in 2014-15.
