Biography

A freestyle and butterfly swimmer, Kristina Lennox competed for the U.S. team in the 2008 Games. She swam in both the 200 meter butterfly and 400 meter freestyle but did not qualify for the finals in either event. She was able to compete on the same team as her brother Douglas Lennox-Silva. In the 2004-2005 season she collected All-Big East team honors by swimming personal bests in the 200 butterfly (2:01.83), 500 freestyle (4:54.14) and 200 freestyle (1:50.08). As a senior she won the BIG EAST title in the 200 butterfly with a mark of 2:00.49. Lennox holds the Villanova Swim Center pool record in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 56.08 seconds.
