Villanova Career: Won gold in the 100 Back at his first BIG EAST Championship … Program’s second-fastest performer in the 50 Back (22.19) and 100 Back (48.25) and is sixth in the 200 Back (1:48.12) … Own two of the top 10 fastest times in program history in the 50 Back and 100 Back … Part of the 200 Medley Relay that posted the second-fastest time in program history at the 2025 BIG EAST Championships (1:28.68).
2024-25: Earned All-BIG EAST status with a gold medal in the 100 Back … Saw season-bests in the 50 Free (21.35), 100 Fly (49.42), 100 Back (48.25) and 200 Back (1:48.12);
BIG EAST Championships (2/24-27): Earned gold in the 100 Back (48.25) after posting a 48.78 in the prelims, both times putting him in the top-10 times in program history … Swam an opening backstroke for the 200 Medley Relay, posting a 22.19 in his leg to become the second-fastest performer in program history;
Drexel (1/31): Third in the 100 Back (51.63) … Opened the 400 Medley Relay for the A team with a 50.91 backstroke as the team finished third (3:23.22);
West Virginia (1/25): Opening backstroke (21.17) for the A team’s third-place 200 Medley Relay (1:32.27);
Providence (11/9): Swam a 52.45 backstroke in the A team’s 400 Meter Medley Relay win (3:27.03);
La Salle (11/8): Opening backstroke (24.25) for the A team’s second-place 200 Medley Relay (1:34.19);
NJIT (11/1):  Touched third in the 100 Back (52.56) … Part of the A team’s 200 Medley Relay win (1:33.24), swimming a 24.15 backstroke;
Rider (10/30): Opened the A team’s third-place 200 Medley Relay (1:32.16) with a 23.70 backstroke;
Georgetown (10/26): Posted a 23.90 opening backstroke in his first 20 Medley Relay with the A team, finishing second (1:32.65).
High School: Gorsuch was a Junior National Qualifier during his high school career at Falmouth High School.
Personal: Â He is native to Falmouth Maine. He chose to attend Villanova University for its strong academic and athletic reputation. The University's dynamic campus, community and supportive environment provide the ideal setting for his personal growth.
